“Paluma Dreaming Café and Cabins”
is located in the highest point in Paluma Village at the end of
Loop Road and directly opposite the infamous “McLellands Lookout”
It is hard to believe that such a special area such as Paluma is
in such close proximity to the Townsville region. (1 hour from Townsville)
Whether you are on a day trip with family and friends or looking
for an overnight stay with that special person, or an extended break
to relax and unwind, Paluma Dreaming is the place for you!
Our café is open weekends from 9am to 4pm and for special
bookings!

If you are planning a longer trip, Paluma is central and accessible
to Lake Paluma, Ingham, Charters Towers, Mount Fox, Hidden Vally,
Mingela and Herveys Range, Little and Big Crystal creeks, and of
course the legendary Frosty Mango.
Activities available include camping, swimming, BBQ, Bush walks,
Canoeing, Push bike (Home of the Paluma Push held in July each year)

We encourage families to visit and stay to enjoy the feeling of
the wonder of Paluma that is simply not available in the lower regions
of the north. The mist as it comes flowing through and settles at
various times daily , the rainforest walks, the wildlife including
the Cassowary and Eastern Water Dragons, the birdlife and smaller
reptiles and animals that present themselves at various times of
night and day is a treat for everyone, especially the younger ones.
